Motherhood

So in relief society on sunday that topic of the lesson was motherhood. You know, I have always known what an amazing and precious gift it is to be a mother but every now in then it's nice to be reminded of how special it really just is and not to be taken for granted. One of God's greatest gifts to us as women is to be able to bear children and become mothers. I know not everyone will be able or want to do this but for those of us that can how awesome it is!!!! Everyday I thank my Heavenly Father for the special little spirits that he has entrusted to me. Being pregnant again has re-instilled that miraculous process again and makes me wonder how anyone could not believe in God and just what in the world they might think makes this all happen. It's absolutely amazing!!! I am fortunate to have an amazing mother also. Everyday I see a little piece of her in me as I do things with my children. I wish I could be more like her and want to just get down on the floor and play all the time. I remember her doing that with me and sometimes when I am feeling a little too tired or annoyed I just remember the memories that I have and it makes me want to leave those memories in my munchkins little minds too. I am also so very blessed to having an amazing husband at home that fulfills the roll of "mom" while I am at work everyday. I am grateful that Heavenly Father has given me a man that is so capable and good at this. I love coming home and seeing the things that he has taught them and how much they love them and the special bond that they have with thier daddy. So many kids grow up only knowing their father's on the weekends because they are so busy with work throughout the week. I love my family sooo much and I am so blessed to have such wonderful support and guidance as I tackle the diffucult yet oh so fun role of motherhood everday!!!!

Girls Night!

Paisley comes up to me at like 8:45 a few nights ago with her shoes on and stuffed dog in hand and declares "Hey mom, let's go have a girls trip". She loves any opportunity to go out with mommy and not dad and brother so we called up Grandma and set up a date for girls night for the three of us. I asked her what she wanted to do and she said we were going to go out to eat to Olive Garden and Red Lobster. The kids a nut. I am excited to have a girl's night though with my two favorite "girls"!
So one of my most favorite holidays is coming up! HALLOWEEN!! I can't wait. So for those of you who know me, you know that I get a little bit psycho about the whole costume thing. So i started about 3 weeks ago on my hunt for the world's cutest costumes for the munchkins. In the past I would have made them , but yeah, that's not happening I'm way to tired for that :) So Paisley was dead set on being a dalmation. Well let me tell you. the movie is not a current release so good luck for me trying to find that costume. I happened into Old navy today and let me just say that they have some VERY cute costumes and they were only $15! Woo hoo! I took the kids tonight and Paisley fell in love with a pink poodle costume and Ryan is going to be a red ragon. They are so stinkin cute in them!! As soon as I take some pics I will have to post. Just wanted to share my fabulous find with everyone!!!!

Seriously!!!

Okay so I was just browsing through blogs of family members of some of my friends and I came across this article. I have known the story behind this for awhile now but I thought I should post the link to it here also. http://article.nationalreview.com/?q=N2NmMGNkMTdkZWJkZWRkMjRkNjY5NjllNzZlYjkyNmY
How anyone with sound mind could even consider voting for this man is beyond comprehension to me. Think about!!!!!!! All I have to say is scary and sick!!!!

It's official...

I have decided that I am truly the world's worst blogger!! As much as I like to talk you would think that I could keep up on this thing!!! Oh well!! Well, today was my first day teaching relief society!!! What a relief to know that it is over!!! It actually went really well. Thankfully the sisters had a lot of input to share and i only got through about a 3rd of my lesson. The funiest thing though is to be standing up there and look out at everyone and they are just staring at you with these smiles on their faces, it makes you wonder if they think you are a complete idiot!!! Hopefully they got the message and enojoyed it!!!!

Cameron had his interview at ASDOH on thursday. We think it actually went quite well. It's the first time out of the 3 that he has actually come out of there thinking that it went pretty well. I know there were a lot of people on their knees praying for him so I am sure that made a HUGE difference!!! Thank you to everyone for your continued love and support. It means more to us than you will ever know!!! Now we just keep our fingers crossed for December 1st and hope for the all too important phone call!!!

Okay....now on to our BIGGGGGGGG news!!!! Paisley and Ryan are gonna have a new brother or sister in May!!! we are so excited to welcome another little monkey into our lives and can't wait for them to get here. May seems sooooo far away but I know that the time will fly, it always does. I am feeling really great and just keeping my fingers crossed that this one will be like the other 2 and I will have smooth sailing through the pregnancy!!!!!
